Megjegyzések:	Scientific Researches in Food Production (1)(2017)(Nitra) Breastfeeding is the most appropriate nutrition for babies, because it contains different protective materials and breast milk serves as food (Rodler, 2006). After the first sixth months complementary feeding must get started, because the child continues to grow (Szél, 1996). In this study, 8 commercial and 8 homemade baby foods were examined for micro element content, a risk assessment was calculated for Al (27), Fe (56), Zn (66), Cu (65), Cd (111) and Pb (206) according to Provisional Tolerable Daily Intake (PTDI) values announced by WHO/JECFA. Risks were determined for children with a body weight of 10 kg, based on 250 g baby food. Examining the aluminium, copper and lead contents there were not any correlations. The highest element content was measured in Bolognese samples in case of iron and zinc followed by chicken with carrot. The reason might be that the first and the second samples contained meat. The cadmium content was above the detection limit in samples containing carrot. Probably the high values were present due to this ingredient. In the different of micro element contents were the ratio of ingredients or raw materials. The homemade baby food's composition was not the same as the commercial baby food's. According to the risk assessment probable risks were calculated in commercial Bolognese for iron and zinc, commercial chicken with carrot for zinc and cadmium, commercial pumpkin with apple and carrot for cadmium, homemade Bolognese for iron, zinc and cadmium and homemade chicken with carrot for iron and zinc.
