Th is chapter focuses on the factors that determine individuals` time use. We discuss how time management skills are acquired and what patterns of time use are typical for various ages, genders, social groups, and populations from different regions. Studying time use is important because it sheds light on why certain student groups find it very challenging to adjust to school time schedules.
