Megjegyzések:Cyanobacterial toxins have adverse effects on mammals, birds and fishes and are therefore being increasingly recognised as a potent stress and health hazard factor in aquatic ecosystems. Microcystins (MCY), which are cyclic heptapeptides and a main group of the cyanotoxins, are retained within the producer-cells during cyanobacterial bloom development. But, these toxins are released into surrounding medium by senescence and lysis of the bloom. The released MCY could then come into contact with a wide range of aquatic organisms including aquatic plants. Aim of this study was compare the effects of MCY-LR in cell free extracts of Microcystis aeruginosa (BGSD-243) culture on three aquatic plant species. Ceratophyllum demersum is able to reduce the harmful effects of MCY-LR during biotransformation produced ROS (PLUGMACHER S. 2004). It is the reason of increase of several antioxidant enzymes. In our study during exposure of Ceratophyllum to MCY-LR in a concentration of 0,02-4 ?g ml-1 an elevation of protease enzymes activity was detected. Lemna minor was less sensitive to MCY-LR, than the other two species, neither the growth parameters nor the enzyme (ssDNase and protease) activity gels had shown significant changes. Wolffia arrhiza plants were the most sensitive to MCY-LR. Growth (as weight and frond number) and chlorophyll content were significantly reduced after 5 days of exposure to concentration of 2-4 ?g ml-1 and 1-4 ?g ml-1 , respectively. The isoenzyme patterns of ssDNase and protease enzymes, as revealed by activity gels, showed characteristic changes, several isoenzymes were far more active in the MCY-LR treated plants.
