Megjegyzések:I. Schur posed the problem of proving the irreducibility of (x?a1)(x?a2)?(x?an)?1, where a1,a2,?,an are distinct rational integers [cf. G. Pólya and G. Szegö, Aufgaben und Lehrsätze aus der Analysis. Band II, Funktionentheorie, Nullstellen, Polynome, Determinanten, Zahlentheorie, p. 136, Springer, Berlin, 1925; third edition, 1964; MR0170986]. This result has been extended by numerous writers. In particular A. Brauer, R. Brauer and H. Hopf [Jber. Deutsch. Math. Verein. 35 (1926), 99?112; Jbuch 52, 100] proved the irreducibility of g(f(x)) for every g(x) of degree ?4 and for all f(x) (with essentially a finite number of exceptions) having more than 1/2degf distinct roots in Z. The present paper treats this problem in a more general situation. ...
