Megjegyzések:	Abstract: The European consumer law not only seeks to guarantee a high level of protection for consumers by establishing substantive rights, but also to protect the designated group of persons in cross-border legal relationships, with the means and tools of conflict-of-law regulation. In the case law of the European Court of Justice concerning conflicts of law () regulations (Rome I., Rome II., recast Brussels Ia Regulations), the precise definition of the personal field of consumer protection is a recurring issue. The study undertakes to analyse case Nr. C-774/19 in a broader context, examining whether a natural person who, as a professional poker player, has earned a regular and significant amount of income can be classified as a consumer.
