Megjegyzések:This paper is concerned with connections on a Riemannian manifold M which satisfy the symmetry condition of the first Bianchi identity but may have nonvanishing torsion. The following theorem is proved: If M has nonzero constant curvature and dimM?4, then the connection is torsionfree, i.e. it is the Levi-Civita connection. For zero curvature the proposition is false. So the result elucidates the compatibility of constant curvature and torsion of a connection.
