Megjegyzések:This study explores the role of interlocking directors of Pakistani business groups and financial performance. In panel regression the effect of vertical interlocks, intra-group interlocks, leverage and sales growth are tested. Through empirical testing it is argued that vertical interlock is statistically significant and positive but intra-group interlock is statically insignificant and negative. The result suggests that vertical interlocking directors are playing key role to increase the financial performance of group member firms. A vertical interlocking director increases financial performance of group firm by supporting in coordination and promotion of transactions between group member firm and holding firm. The sample consists of 55 public limited firms listed at Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) and covering period is 2011 to 2015.

Megjegyzések:This treatise presents somé aspects of the economic-financial role of tourism in Hungary and in the EU countries, highlighting its part acted in the development of balances of payments account. The international economic crisis has affected every country of Europe, it has influenced the performance of tourism-catering as well therefore the statistical figures serve as a database of the research from the pre-crisis period till the present days. We point to the changing of the revenue and expenditure sides of the current account, the role of EUR/HUF exchange rate fluctuation in Hungary which mostly affects the tourism-catering. The balance of tourism continuously increased during the researched years: it was EUR 1918 millión in 2008 and EUR 2383 millión in 2013 which can be considered an almost 20% growth. While the number of the totál overnight stays has increased only since 2010, the average room rates have hardly changed, the tourists have spent more in Hungary, 11 thousand fewer people have worked in the sector since 2008.

Megjegyzések:As a consequence of the economic crisis, the access to external financing sources has significantly narrowed down and the creditors have become much more cautious as well. This means that the parties ensuring external sources more thoroughly analyse the parties demanding sources and the ones requiring sources need to be more aware of their own positions and have to know their financing opportunities from internal sources. Ensuring the internal sources at an adequate level and the continuous financing of a corporation's activity are closely related to the circulating capital management. The circulating capital is of fundamental importance in order to determine the short-term financial situation of corporations. One key area of the circulating capital management is the liquidity management i.e. the continuous maintenance of solvency since it is the guarantee of a corporation's survival in the short term and it also establishes the long-term development. During the financial analysis of enterprises, we can often meet the problem that the liquidity indicators show incorrect values, at the same time, its indications are not visible in the corporate operation yet. Other times, a reverse situation occurs, that is, the liquidity indicators of an enterprise are adequate, yet the firm has payment problems. Why do these situations exist? In the study, we try to find a solution to that how such indicator values can be obtained which more accurately indicate the current solvency situation of a corporation.

Megjegyzések:The purpose of the research is examining the number of domestic students in higher education by national, régiónál and international details. Previous to generál crisis we could observe ?the expansion of higher education" in most countries. After the crisis in the following period we could be witnesses of different progressions, in somé countries the number of students in higher education dynamically risen, although elsewhere drastic decrease was happened. The economical development requires more and more highly and gradly qualified professionals, therefore the main point in our research is showing the link between the GDP, number formation of the students and the R&D inputs During our research we highlight the GDP data of countries with the highest and permanently growing headcount of students. The statement seems to be true, which says that those countries appropriate more (2-3%) to education and R&D, the number of students in higher education is rising, where efficiency of economics is high. At the same time Turkey is an exception, where the GDP's only 0,9% goes to R&D, however the number of students risen from 2,9 to 4,3 millión in four years.

Megjegyzések:The development gaps existing between individual areas of the European Community were not equalized afiter realization of the four freedoms and the common markét either. From the 1960s, the need for harmonizing the régiónál policies and then the establishment of the communal régiónál policy have become more and more pronounced. In the European Union resting on the basis of the European Community, it is still a task of strategic importance to get the less developed regions caught up with the more developed areas. In this treatise, I examine - in relation to régiónál policy of the EU - the main reasons of the disadvantageous economic situation of Észak-Alföld (Northern Great Plain) region and the possibilities for utilizing the renewable energy sources. This region is a key strategic area with regard to the Hungárián agriculture; in spite of this, it has been one of the most underdeveloped regions for a long time. Most subregions of Észak-Alföld region belong tothe most disadvantaged ones in terms of territorial development. I particularly examine the following things among the main causes lurking behind the disadvantageous economic situation: the organisational system background of economy, the reasons for inadequate intensity of capital investment from abroad, the low levels of research and development outgoings as well as the transport infrastructure. Following that, I present the region's potentials in utilizing biomass and geothermal energy.

Megjegyzések:The efficient use of resources in the ever-changing economic environment is top priority question of every economic organization. The key of the economic success at companies is the efficient and successful use of resources in the value process flow of products and services. The main role of the controlling in connection with the success of economic organizations is to help to reach the corporate goals. This is especially true for the human resource management-controlling, because in this case we are talking about suchlike factor, where the capacity is not predetermined, than in the case of production facilities. The purpose of the study is to analyse the HR efficiency of selected food retailer discount store network and service center based on financial statements in relation with gross production- net production value and added value. This enterprises have different assets, revenue level and sales channel. Because of the differences we can't compare this organisations within absolute numbers, but the derived relative indicators are useful for the comparison.
