Cím:Laboratory testing of the influence of illumination conditions on PV panel power yield / A. Rácz, I. A. Szabó
Dátum:2010
Megjegyzések:Solar energy utilization is one of the preferred technologies for the green economy. For planning the generated power one has to know both the geographic and climatic and geographic conditions. The solar radiation reaches the PV panel in varying angular, spectral and polarization distribution. To incorporate this variation in the power estimation, one needs a more detailed characterization of the PV panels than the usually given maximum efficiency number. This paper present the results of the laboratory measurements for different commercially available solar PV panel types under different artificial illumination conditions and the results are compared to the claims of the manufactures.

Cím:Developing a solar panel testing system / Árpád Rácz, István A. Szabó, Lajos Harasztosi, Sándor Kökényesi
Dátum:2009
Megjegyzések:Solar energy is increasingly used to generate electricity for individual households. There is a wide variety of solar panel technologies, which should be tested at an individual level during their lifetime. In this paper, the development of a testing station at the University of Debrecen is presented. The testing system can be used for research and educational purposes and for in field applications equally well.

Cím:Linear Magnetic Break of Special Test Requirements with Dynamic Performance / Váradiné Szarka Angéla
Dátum:2010
Megjegyzések:Research running at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of the University of Miskolc aims to develop a linear magnetic break suitable for simulating real loading environment for machines making linear movement with fast direction changes. The linear break will be used in product development department, where constructors should have accurate, reliable and detailed test results on the machine's performance. Practical test of certain electrical household equipment is performed by unskilled laborers when test circumstances cannot be accurately registered, e.g. during a jigsaw or drill test force applied by the worker can change in time. Therefore, intelligent test equipment is required where test phases and parameters can be set exactly and results are reproducible. Practical tests at product development phase include special time schedules with run and halt operation phases, as well as different loads are applied in run phases. Loading test of the electrical equipments operating with fast (approx. 50Hz) alternating movement has serious theoretical and practical difficulties. The linear magnetic break presented in this paper is suitable for applying force to a jigsaw's blade in range of -500N and +500N. The force affecting the blade has special characteristics, it depends not only on the direction of the instantaneous movement but also on the instantaneous position of the blade. Therefore, control of the loading force, namely control of the linear magnetic break, is a complex task, requiring the development of a sophisticated intelligent system based on deep analysis of magnetic fields, weight compensation and reaction times.
