Megjegyzések:	We determine the algebraic structure of the multiplicative loops for locally compact 2-dimensional topological connected quasifields.In particular, our attention turns to multiplicative loops which have either a normal subloop of positive dimension or which contain a 1-dimensional compact subgroup. In the last section we determine explicitly the quasifields which coordinatize locally compact translation planes of dimension 4 admitting an at least 7-dimensional Lie group as collineation group.

Megjegyzések:	Let F be a field of characteristic 2 and G a non-abelian group with cyclic commutator subgroup of order 2n. In this paper, the derived length of the unit group of the group algebra F G is determined for the case when the nilpotency class of G is not n + 1. Under assumption that G is of class n + 1, a necessary and sufficient condition is provided for the derived length to take its highest possible value, n + 1.
