Megjegyzések:	The One Belt, One Road Initiative (OBOR), later shortened to The Belt and Road Initiative, can be said to have been launched with a speech that Chinese President Xi Jingping made at the Nazarbayev University in Astana, Kazakshtan, on September 7 2013.3 At this event, President Xi said that "To forge closer economic ties, deepen cooperation and expand development space in the Eurasian region, we should take an innovative approach and jointly build an economic belt along the Silk Road". Furthermore, President Xi stated that "This will be a great undertaking, benefiting the people of all countries along the route. To turn this into a reality, we may start with work in individual areas and link them up over time to cover the whole region."

Megjegyzések:	Violence against women is rooted in women's unequal status in society and that status reflects the unbalanced distribution of social, political and economic power among women and men in society. It is one of the most pervasive human rights violations of our time and a form of discrimination that results in, or is likely to result in, physical, sexual, psychological or economic harm or suffering to women (Council of Europe 2011). Violence against women undermines women's dignity and integrity and imposes serious harm on families, communities and societies. In the European Union (EU), estimates suggest that one in three women (or 61 million out of 185 million) have experienced physical or sexual violence, or both, since the age of 15 (European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights 2014a).
