Megjegyzések:The paper deals with the theme of madness in the short story by Vsevolod Garshin A Red Flower in a different perspective than in critical literature. The focus is not on the psychiatric problem but on the process of creating a discourse of the mental disease. During the analysis of the text, some references are also given, for example, to The Dream of a Ridiculous Man by F. Dostoevsky or Ward No. 6 by A. Chekhov. The intertextual connections with these stories are based on the idea of improving the world and on the process of its metaphorical renaming. However, it is emphasized that Garshin's story does not observe either the hero's criticism and rethinking of his idea to save the world by demolishing it or the creation of a personal narrative about it. It is seen only as the metaphorical word conflicts the medical speech: the hero (patient) denotes the world of the hospital in his own way, the other way round as the narrator (doctor?). The duality of text construc- tion (narration realistically explaining the speech and thoughts of the hero) can thus receive its resolution at the level of discourse. In this respect, the paper also explores the motivic and metaphorical plan of the text of the short story. This leads to results somewhat different from the allegorical and symbolic analysis, for instance, in connection with the red flower, the fire, the sleep, and the moon. At the same time, the author of the paper draws attention to the phonogrammatic innovations: quasi-etymons, homonyms, and consonances that create new meanings, e.g. the verbs ?????? ♭to plant' and ????? ♭to tear' as well as the words-names denoting or associated with plants: ???????? ♭petals', ??????? ♭greenhouse', etc. In this special point of view, it turns out that the image and the idea of the hero can be compared with the red flower, and, therefore, his story is interpreted as self-destruction for a new birth. The plot of the story can be interpreted as a literary rethinking of fairy tales (passing initiations and tests), meanwhile the author of the paper focuses on the disclosure of the patient's special word in parallel with the opening of the bud. It is revealed that things play an important role in constructing the text discourse aimed at developing coherence: to get rid of the "madman's shirt" in the plot, and to repel traditional, "bonding" forms in the poetic language. The metaphorization starts dominating the text and becomes the denouement of the narrative on "madman" in the discoursive presentation of the story.

Megjegyzések:This paper studies the allegory techniques in Ivan Turgenev's short story "The First Love" and in Venedikt Erofeev's "Notes of a Psychopath". The analysis looks upon the varieties of characters, the ways of their function in prose texts. Turgenev rethinks the existing forms, Erofeev, who redefines the literary language, makes them visible and thus destructs them. The analysis of methods and forms of allegories demonstrates a typical 19th-century technique, and foreshadow a characteristic trend in its usage at the end of the 20th century. Our approach manifests the forms of remaking allegories in the classical and the post-modernist literature.

Megjegyzések:The analysis focuses on two possible approaches to the phenomenon of identity. Identity emerges, it is maintained and changes in everyday talk-in-interaction in the process of communicative action interpretations achieved by speakers and their reactions. Consequently, identity can be observed in the individual narratives and in the structure of conversation. In the paper, the author observes the emergence of identity in the texts of qualitative semi-structured focus group interview (in the Russian language). The text analysis is based on the theoretical and methodological background of conversation analysis and narrative analysis.
