Megjegyzések:Currently, the use of information technology is essential and offering electronic services which has become a necessity for all governments around the world. In Jordan, ICT sector is advanced in the Middle East and provides electronic services in various sectors. The goals of this paper are to find out the current situation and evaluate the quality of electronic public services for the Jordanian agricultural sector. In this paper, the government websites providing electronic services were analyzed to check the readiness of these websites and identify and verify electronic services in the agricultural sector. Seven main sites have been selected concerned with the agricultural sector in Jordan. Only three websites offer electronic services and in order to check these websites a survey of these websites was conducted based on literature criteria. These criteria checked the readiness of these websites from technical aspects, services, information security and ease of use for people with special needs. After the portal analysis, these websites showed general weakness in the management of sites, weakness in security tools for personal information, weakness in updated information and no websites showed any features for people with special needs. In addition to it, farmers and agricultural businesses in Jordan are currently not obliged by any law to use any electronic service, and they can still opt for traditional paper mail or personal visits.

Megjegyzések:The Agile approach proved to be effective in building self-managed software development teams that can quickly respond to rapid changes and adapt to ambiguous and complex business environments with fast-changing requirements. After the pandemic, and as a cause of worldwide lockdown, companies struggled to survive. Most companies started shifting their work processes and environment to handle ambiguity using Agile methods and tools. The company's transition to Agile is usually led by HR, which played an essential role in this change, managing the talent and choosing the best processes to benefit the organization and avoiding other rigid processes and consider them wastes. Some Agile methodologies can add tremendous value to the organizations, while applying other methods can be harmful. Today, companies seek to reinvent their working practices by incorporating the Agile approach to improve flexibility and meet increasingly competitive market demands. This study examines the Agile management role in the HRM environment transformation and its effect on the new reality of adopting technologies in all HRM.

Megjegyzések:Nowadays, the use of information tools has become commonplace; we can not imagine our world without their help. As in any sector, agriculture needs to use these tools as the rapidly growing population food supplier. However, keep in mind that IT (Information Technologies) assets are threatened by severe threats and significant cybersecurity risks. Precision farming is based on IT, so the threat level is high. The are several information theories about information security, and there are researches in the field of agriculture informatics. The digitalization of agriculture is essential, but it brings new problems to many farms. Such new technologies like IoT devices (Internet of Things), blockchain seem to be useable in agricultural processes, but the possible IT breach should be handled. The agro-industry IT security is more vulnerable than ever before, but the benefits of using the technology promise to outweigh the risks.

Megjegyzések:The purpose of this study is to gain a better understanding, conceptualization, and measurement about the usage of ICT among SMEs that could enhance and transform their business to be more efficient and resilient. A more specific aim is to explore the state of ICT adoption as well as to examine the drivers and barriers of digital transformation through the lens of SMEs. In the primary (quantitative) phase of our research, we conducted a questionnaire survey among micro-enterprises and primary producers on the use of ICT in Hajdú-Bihar County, where 237 people answered the questionnaire. In all cases, the respondent was listed as a primary producer or in a joint primary producer certificate. We were investigated which tools are using in communication with suppliers, customers and government organisations, which type of cloud services are used and the safe storage by Internet Service Providers. We get about the same results in the case of the suppliers, customers. In the case of the governmental institutions, Internet usage was bigger, because of a significant number of them require national or EU grants, which can be submitted electronically. The secure data storage is the safest possible for the farmers.

Megjegyzések:The agricultural system experienced a strong abandonment of agroforestry in the 20th century, with agroforestry today taking place only on a few million ha in Europe. One of the aims of the AgroFE (Agroforestry Training in Europe) and the Agrof-MM (Agroforestry - Training - Mediterranean and Mountain Erasmus+) European projects is to build a knowledge databank to assist educational development and to provide experts and farmers with agroforestry knowledge. The KDB (Knowledge DataBank) is based on different professional vocabulary, metadata and thesaurus systems to build the content structure and help the users in their searches. A new tool will improve the knowledge management of agroforestry. The Agrof-MM project is creating an agroforestry thesaurus. The paper describes the knowledge databank system prototype for Agroforestry training and education. The knowledge databank is a component of the project training system. It aims to gather and share a set of documents and resources that partners, learners and public users can access in different forms: mono document objects and composite materials.

Megjegyzések:While corporate social responsibility (CSR) has been extensively explored from the standpoint of large corporations and developed economies, smaller businesses and developing economies have received little attention. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) continue to be the backbone of most economies, significantly accounting for a major share in economic value creation. This implies that the contribution of SMEs in achieving sustainable development is therefore critical. The study seeks to add to the limited literature by investigating the implication of socially responsible behavior on the performance of SMEs in Nigeria. Corporate reputation, profit maximization and management efficiency are dependent variables used as proxies for performance measurement. A well-structured questionnaire was administered to 63 Nigerian SMEs. The study adopted a structural equation model using SmartPLS for the data analysis. Findings show a significant relationship between corporate social responsibility and the three determinants of firm performance (management efficiency, profit maximization and corporate reputation). This study has implications for owners/managers of SMEs who are keen on improving performance by leveraging on socially responsible behaviour through the development, implementation and communication of a sustainable and acceptable CSR initiative. Recommendations and suggestions for further investigations are made.
