Megjegyzések:In this article, a hybrid powertrain for the Volkswagen (VW) Crafter is designed using the Model-In-The-Loop (MIL) method. An enhanced Proportional-Integral (PI) control technique based on integral cost functions is developed by carrying out a time-based simulation in MATLAB/Simulink software to realize the optimal fuel economy of the vehicle. Moreover, a comparative study is conducted between the vehicle's hybrid and pure electric versions to assess the optimal battery energy consumption per unit distance traveled. Communication within our vehicles' Electronic Control Units (ECUs) is facilitated by a message-based protocol called a Controller Area Network (CAN). Consequently, this paper presents an online CAN Bus data analysis using the Hardware-In-The-Loop (HIL) method. This method uses a standard frame, J1939 CAN protocol, implemented with Net CAN Plus 110 hardware. A graphical user interface is developed on a host Personal Computer (PC) using LabVIEW for decoding the acquired raw CAN data to physical values. The simulation results reveal that the proposed controller is promising and suitable for realizing optimal performance over the HIL method.

Megjegyzések:This study addresses the complexity of global pandemic (COVID) exposures and explores how sustainable development relates to economic and health risks and food security. Multiple factor analysis (MFA) is applied to compute the links among blocks of variables, and results are validated by random sampling with bootstrapping, exhaustive and split-half techniques, and analysis of variance (ANOVA) to test the differences of the MFA factors within the different stages of competitiveness. Comparing the MFA factors suggests that higher competitiveness is correlated with better food security and natural resilience and the tremendous economic downturn; the most competitive countries have lower exposures to health risks. In addition, the risk of pandemics appears to be lower with well-established public health care (HC) system services and good health for the population. The study also underlines that the economic and health systems are unfortunately inadequate to deal with a crisis of this magnitude. Although the countries least affected by the epidemic are the most competitive, they cannot protect people and the economy effectively. Formulating appropriate global responses is a challenge, but the results may lead to more nuanced findings regarding treatment policies that can be addressed at the country level.

Megjegyzések:Navigating among the information available on the Internet has become an expectation for the members of the information society we are living in. This especially applies to students of higher education, the intellectuals of the future. It is a general experience that most users make one or two word searches and they don't know about the possibilities offered by various search engines, which can make searches more effective. Given results from abroad we have set up a study among the students of the University of Debrecen (UD) about their use of the Internet, their knowledge of searching strategies and techniques, their perceptions of the effectiveness and efficiency of search engines. This paper reports the results of this study. The results imply that it is imperative that area should be included in the curriculum.

Megjegyzések:This paper is concerned with axially symmetric linear elastic problems analised by discontinuous finite elelent method. The formulation is based on the displacement approach modifying the total potential energy functional with the discontinuity potencial and penalty term or lifting operator. the aim of the analysis is to determine the penalty parameter when the coefficient matrix becomes positive definit, i.e. the process is stable. Numerical examples are solved for elastic problems. Some papers introduce the so called lifting operator instead of the well known penalty term. In this paper the usage of the lifting operator and the penalty term will compared.
