Megjegyzések:	Even today teaching relies predominantly on printed textbooks and workbooks, but at the same time, the digital environment, whose motivating effects can be utilized at schools, is also familiar to students. Incorporating modern technologies into school work can prepare the ground for reorganizing work during the lessons. It can also extend the process of learning and teaching: the working process may be recorded, forwarded and expanded. Nowadays teaching mathematics places the emphasis on competence-based teaching and relies heavily on developing essential thinking, numerical reasoning, combinative skills and abilities as well as cooperative work. Competence-based teaching methods can be facilitated by multimedia materials and other digital materials. In my paper, I will examine how the GeoGebra software assists the improvement of problem-solving thinking, focusing on the skills and components of competence mentioned above. I would also like to examine how the use of computer programs can bring mathematics closer to students.
