Megjegyzések:	Creatinine concentration was determined in the urine of 120 healthy newborns (duration of pregnancy 33-41 weeks) on the postnatal days one and four. Results were grouped according to weight and the duration of pregnancy. Based on the limit of 4400 umol/l urinary concentration a significant difference was found between the low birth weight - mature (p<0,001), delivered at term - premature (p<0,001) newborns. Creatinin concentration voided on the first postnatal day changed in proportion with the duration of pregnancy (p<0,001). Authors determined on 20 mature newborns delivered at term (duration of pregnancy 38,8+1,7 weeks, birth weight 3311+505 g) the 24 hour creatinine voiding on the first and fourth post-partum day. The values amounted to 57 umol/kg/day and 55 umol/kg/day. According to the observations voiding of creatinine shows a linear increase with body length (p<0,05) and body weight (p<0,001).
