Megjegyzések:	According to the latest statistical publications in 2010, the number of civic organizations was about 65 000, most of them may be considered as classic civic organizations. Statistical and other typical publications mainly deal with the human background and economic activity of these kinds of organizations, still little information is known about their management, and details of activity are less revealed. The new act on civic organizations and the related legal background possibly means a new challenge for many organizations; the sphere will definitely be further polarized. We assume that a large number of organizations will not be suitable to the novel conditions and this is also in connection with their managerial relationships. In a private examination of us we had the possibility to investigate a well defined territory, civic organizations of Hajdú-Bihar County from the point of view of managerial aspects. By applying survey and deep interviews we have revealed some typical phenomena of the managerial practice by collapsing the opinions of civic managers and so-called civic experts, who quite often had a different point of view. In this article we try to reveal more on the nature of managerial practice, managerial problems.

Megjegyzések:	As information and knowledge play a key role in today's Internet dominated society, intellectual capital based approaches to competitiveness and sustainable development become necessary in the case of libraries as well. Globalization, digitization and integration have all contributed to the transformation of conventional library and librarianship principals. In my study after presenting the theoretical background I will illustrate the necessity of the research in the second biggest library in Hungary. The seven library units of the University of Debrecen University and National Library with their collections, services, information structure and their well-trained librarians form an institute of the University of Debrecen that has a basic importance. The recognition of managing available knowledge in the organization is of key importance and has to be utilized and developed through collective learning and communication processes. I demonstrate what kind of steps and efforts the university library is taking towards functioning as a learning centre and building a learning organization. My analysis is based on Peter Senge's five disciplines and David A. Garvin's model.
