Megjegyzések:	The recent years saw many changes in the organization and responsibilities of local governments. These changes were generated primarily by the relevant regulations, and the modifications affecting them. The goal of the article is to present and analyse these changes.It will present them by the specific areas they affect. These areas include the organizational level, the roles and activities, the ITinfrastructure, and the miscellaneous changes not related strictly to any of the above areas.
