Megjegyzések:E-learning performance is mostly dependent on motivation, yet in comparison to traditional classrooms, online settings frequently have trouble maintaining student interest. Gamification ? the use of game design aspects in e-learning ? has been shown to be a promising approach to improving student motivation. Gamification uses game elements and experiential learning ideas to draw students in and meet their basic psychological requirements. Gamification can boost student motivation by enhancing enjoyment, effort, performance, and perseverance, according to a growing body of research. To further understand which individual game components and implementations most successfully enable sustained motivation over time in accordance with well-known motivation theories, furter research is still required. In order to better understand how gamification techniques and e-learning motivation relate to one another, this pre-research literature study will look at previous studies in the field. Gained knowledge can guide future empirical studies on how to best create engaging online learning environments that increase both intrinsic and extrinsic motivation in order to solve problems with student disengagement.
