Megjegyzések:	According to the regional aspects, the unemployment is prevailing in the Northern Great Plain region of the country, most of the population is excluded from the workmarket, the number of the inactive people is high. Unemployment is one of the most serious problems of our age, which can appear in anybody's life without regard to sex, age and its social and economic consequences are severe. I research the position of female employees in the Northern Great Plain region, especially in Hajdú-Bihar county. Unemployment can be a problem both for men and women, however the employment chances of the women are more limited. In our research we have suspected that there is a relation between the female employee's age, education and their unemployment, moreover that discrimination and the unemployment go hand in hand. It can be stated that those women who have assured professional background, knowledge of foreign languages, university degree, can find a job more easily than those who lack these things.
