Megjegyzések:	In this paper we have sought to answer three research questions: what was the difference between theagricultural export growth rates of the Visegrád Group countries following the EU accession; how did themultifactor productivity in the countries under study evolve; and could a correlation be observed between thegrowth rates of the multifactor productivity and of the agricultural exports. The average annual growth rateof the multifactor productivity was highest in Poland, followed by the growth rate in Slovakia, in Hungaryand in the Czech Republic. The average annual growth rates of the exports of agricultural raw materials andof the total food economy had identical rankings except for Hungary. The results of the analysis allow thepresumption that the different annual average growth rates of the multifactor productivity of agriculture havealso influenced the development of the agricultural export performance of the countries under study.

Megjegyzések:	The aim of this study is to examine what changes have occured after the accession to the European Union in Hungary. Firstly, total external trade will be briefly analysed. The second section emphasis the changes in food trade. The result shows that accession has a positive effect to the total external trade; however it has a negative effect to the trade balance of agriculture and food industry.
