Megjegyzések:Impact of Six Sixma on tourism industries performance in Indonesia: evidence from structural equation model
Concept of Six Sigma is comprehensive for finding the appropriate strategy as of the industry can run as efficiently as possible and survive in an economic wave currently under challenging times, including the tourism industry, which is the object of this research. These papers examine an overview of the empirical study of relationships between six sigma strategies toward tourism industry performance. For many countries, tourism is seen as one of the instruments for developing country because it can trigger new economic activities. Tourism also has assertive economic impact on the balance of payments, unemployment, GDP, and profitability. Unplanned and uncontrolled tourism growth has an impact on financial sustainability. The methodology used in this research is quantitative by distributing an online questionnaire consisting of 16 statement items with a five-point Likert scale. The sample size used for this research is 300 tourism service providers in 10 of the city in Indonesia, which is the leading destination for tourists. This research was processed using smart PLS 3.2.9 analysis tools and methods research in this study using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), namely the equation model with a variance-based approach or modeling component-based structural equations. The findings from this study indicate that the latent variable models are involvement and top management commitment, training and education, cultural change, industrial infrastructure, and teamwork has a fit outer model relationship (> 0.7) between latent variables and indicators of efficacious Six Sigma implementation in the tourism industry in Indonesia. However, top management commitment and industrial infrastructure have a low t value, so of course, this is a challenge and input for developing the tourism industry in Indonesia in the future.

Cím:Emerging Automotive Sector in Hungary: A Comparative Study / Fitty Valdi Arie, Adrian Szilard Nagy
Dátum:2023
Megjegyzések:One of the pillars of the economy in Hungary is the automotive industry; despite going through ups and downs due to the pandemic in 2020, the new car market in Hungary shrank by almost a fifth, with a total of 128,000 vehicles purchased at various brand levels. The study focused on a comparative analysis of revenue towards four car brands with a relatively large market share in Hungary both in the provision of production units and spare part units regarding OEMs, namely Audi Hungary, Opel Szentgotthárd, Magyar Suzuki, and Mercedes-Benz. Using the ANOVA model, this research deployed a quantitative approach by analyzing panel revenue data for the four-car brands from 2017- 2021. The results of this study place Audy as the car brand that generates the most revenue and Mercedes-Benz the least. Based on Post Host Tests analysis with the Tukey method, it shows that the nominal value of the income relationship between Opel Szentgotthárd and Magyar Suzuki is not significant with a Tukey HSD value greater than 0.05, which means placed second and third in revenue over five years. The increase in revenue growth from the four car brands is undoubtedly the main driving force for the Hungarian economy, which has been growing and developing amidst the current European economic crisis. Therefore, the government can certainly further develop the automotive industry in a more sustainable direction which is also a challenge for the government in overcoming the energy crisis. Even though foreign companies still dominate Hungary's automotive sector, this positively impacts employment

Cím:Sustainability of independent campus policy in Indonesia: is higher education more efficient and effective? / F. Arie, A. Nagy
Dátum:2023
ISSN:2340-1117
Megjegyzések:The consequences of the current expansion of science and technology bring rapid changes in all forms of human life. That impacts how humans continue to look for ways to meet their needs to get a job and reorganize how humans work to put more emphasis on innovation to face today's global challenges. These challenges have received a positive response from many sectors and demanded universities to create a higher education method to meet work demands. Thus, a model is needed to design how university graduates can meet the current work standards to create an outstanding generation. The answer to that challenge is the Independent Campus Policy. This policy is a model of higher education in Indonesia initiated by the Ministry of Education and Culture (MoE) and addresses the challenges of sustainability in higher education. This study examines how effectively the Indonesian government's independent campus program is applied to the legal entity of higher education institutions in Indonesia by the reliability and validity of key performance indicators (KPI) measured by several variables such as quality of students, quality of a lecturer, and quality of the curriculum. This study uses secondary data from 15 top universities in Indonesia with 500 respondents. The results showed that the dimensions of student quality, lecturer quality, and curriculum quality were robust measurements to reflect the variables positively, validly, and significantly, supported by indicators from each aspect. This paper contributes to the knowledge that the independent campus program substantially influences the efficiency and effectiveness of the student teaching and learning process based on the Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and Structural Equation Model (SEM). Another significant contribution of this result is developing student creativity, lecturer capacity, personality, needs of the world of work, social interaction, collaboration between study programs, and achievements

Cím:Panel estimating exports and imports of the automotive industry on economic growth: evidence of Austria, Hungary, and Romania / Adrian Szilard Nagy, Fitty Valdi Arie
Dátum:2023
ISSN:2344-1712
Megjegyzések:The emerging automotive sector in Europe is again a concern after the COVID-19 pandemic storm. The automotive industry is essential to increasing revenue for a country and influencing an open economy. Even so, there are several manufacturers whose supply and demand for raw materials, costs, and employees are critical to the business activities of this sector. The objective of this study is to analyze the effect of exports and imports in the automotive industry on economic growth. The technical analysis used in this study is multiple regression to see the effect of the independent variables, exports, and imports, has on GDP as the dependent variable using panel data for 2017-2021. The data used is secondary, with the research object being Austria, Hungary, and Romania, countries in emerging markets in the European automotive sector. Findings regarding of the multiple-regression model, f-test and t-test show that the Austrian, Hungarian, and Romanian automotive industries significantly influence overall GDP, even though there are demands in the era of energy sustainability which is a significant concern for the government in creating an energy-efficient automotive industry
