Megjegyzések:The acidity of the environment and the soils present a problem both regarding national and international relations. The physical, chemical and biological properties of the soils are degraded that may cause further dangers (reduction of crop yields, mobilisation of toxic metals, etc.). Heavy metals are dissolved due to acidity loadings as determined by the concentration of the acid and the length of the exposition time. This work studied the rate of mobilisation of Co, Cu, Fe, Mn, Ni and Zn due to the effect of nitric acid with concentrations of 0.01; 0.1; 1 and 10 M with 1 hour, 1 day and 1 week of exposition time. It was investigated whether there is significant difference among the mobilised metal rates due to the different treatments or not. It was stated that the order of mobility of the studied metals is dependant on both the concentrations and the exposition times. This order is not the same as found in the literature as the studied acid soil samples contain less metal than those used in the literature therefore the easily mobilising metals (Cu, Zn, Ni) were dissolved before sampling was taken due to the natural acidity of the soil. This explains the fact that the less mobile Co and Mn top the order of mobility. Increasing acid concentration results in a significant mobilisation initially then at the 10 M treatment only a smaller rate of mobilisation is caused. The greatest acidity the 10 M nitric acid results in minimum change in the concentrations of Zn, Ni and Cu with 1 hour and 1 day exposition times. The same is observed in the case of Co and Cu with the 1 week exposition time. The length of treatment times for the weaker acids results in less significant differences in the metal concentrations. The differences become greater using stronger acids except for Cu.
