Megjegyzések:The major goal of this paper is to build and represent a prototype of a fully autonomous car that employs computer vision to detect lanes and traffic signs without human intervention using limited computing capacity. The project contains an embedded system represented by a Raspberry Pi 3 which serves as the image processing and machine learning unit. This method requires a stream of images as input for the computer vision using OpenCV2 library with C++ programming language along with Haar Cascade Classifier for the detection of traffic signs. The Raspberry Pi will send binary signals to the Arduino UNO which is responsible for merging those signals with the ones from the ultrasonic sensor and producing new signals which are sent to the motor driver to control the direction and speed of the dc motors. The system was able to detect the lane and respond to changes in lane direction, as well as to detect traffic signs and give appropriate responses.

Megjegyzések:The main contribution of the paper is to present the IT background for an Internet-based motion control system, which is also connected to the university e-Learning system. This allows for flexible integration into online courses, and the tasks performed by students can be monitored and evaluated. Mechatronics is complex field, and it is very difficult for firstyear students to learn this approach. In the case of senior students, the practical implementation of the knowledge they have already acquired must be presented alongside the transfer of new knowledge. According to this, the system allows the implementation of open and closed control tasks ranging from setting constant or variable torque, PID and optimal state space control to robust sliding mode control. The developed system can be used in education for more than 5 years of bachelor and master studies and meets the challenges of modern engineering education in the 21st century.

Megjegyzések:Hand rehabilitation robots will have a future due to the increase in stroke patients yearly. The aim of this project is to reduce the cost and the size of the robot to help as many patients as possible. This paper discussed new mechanism that can drive the motion for individual finger. The CAD model of the proposed Hand Rehabilitation Device (HRD) is works to transfer the angular velocity of the motor into prismatic motion that follow the natural movement of the finger. The derived motion of the model was capture with a motion capture software to track the desired trajectories.
