Megjegyzések:	Nowadays, the energy efficiency solutions, renewable energy usage are very important topics because of the rapid decrease of the energy sources. Department of Electrical Engineering and Mechatronics established a Building Mechatronics Research Centre where the researches have the chance to search the methods and technologies to reduce the energy consumption and to increase the amount of on-demand controlled, on-site produced renewable energy. In the laboratories of the Research Centre, engineering students are also involved to get acquainted with modern, industrial technologies, and to take part in researches and projects.

Megjegyzések:	Napjainkban az energiaszegénység problémája egyre sűrűbben előforduló jelenség, melynek megoldásakomoly és sürgető feladat. Bár nincsen konkrétan meghatározott definíciója, mégsem szabad szimplán szociáliskérdésként kezelni az energiaszegénység problémáját. Az energia hatékonyságának szociológiai megközelítése(energiaszegénység) a Debreceni Egyetem Műszaki Kar Épületmechatronikai Kutató Központjának egy újkutatási iránya, ahol lehetőség van azon műszaki mérési és elemzési technikák kifejlesztésére, amely segít feltárniaz energiaszegénység kockázatát. Ezen új kutatási irány célja, hogy megfeleljünk annak az uniós elvnek, miszerintaz energiahatékonyság problematikája nem csak műszaki, hanem társadalmi probléma egyszerre. = Nowadays, the problem of energy poverty is a more and more frequent occurrence and its solution is aserious and urgent task. Energy poverty is closely related to the poor energy performance of residential stocks.Energy poverty is simultaneously an energetic and social question, due to involving households having badenergetic parameters. Because of bad efficiency, the energy costs are high related to earnings. It is not able toenhance the energy efficiency of buildings. Financial supports for endangered layers should contain measures toincrease energy efficiency and decrease energy consumption. However, the concept of energy poverty is appliedto social groups, like families or communities. In this paper, we extended the concept of energy poverty to SME(small and medium-sized enterprises). The paper introduces the concept and the risk of energy poverty and thetechnology of measuring those risks.
