Megjegyzések:This paper aims to present the factors that influence the employability of young Hungarian graduates. The employability indicators due to the diversity and technical features of professions may vary by disciplines. This section of employability was analyzed and the results summarized in this article. To the test I checked on the DPR Recent Graduates 2012 database. The results highlight the particularities of professional groups. In dimensions of substitutability and convertibility the professional fields can be overlaps and differences which are presented below.

Megjegyzések:The possibility to find a job and other questions regarding to employment are important concerns even for prospective students at the time of their application to a higher education institution. Choosing a major, important selection criteria are the expectations on finding a job soon after graduation with a high wage offer and within their profession. Or main research question is how 'realistic' the examined bachelor students see their future on the job market: in what time they think they will find a job, and what wage they think they will earn? We compare two datasets to find the answer. The first data set is from a survey among bachelor level business students of the University of Debrecen, conducted in Fall 2015. The second dataset is made of the databases of the Hungarian Carrier Tracking Survey from 2013. As a result, we have found that - compared to the carrier tracking responses - the students overestimate both their starting net earnings and their chance to find a job related to their profession.

Megjegyzések:The employability of young graduates has been particularly concerned by social researchers in recent years due to the expansion of higher education and career follow-up systems. In this paper we analyze the first job search of young graduates. In recent database (DPR, 2015) is possible to select the responders who searched a job soon after graduation, which was not selectable in earlier databases. However, former analyses can be specified. With linear regression models we identify the graduates' first job search time influencing factors. According to our results, the speed of finding a first job is influenced by the intensity of job search (number of job applications and interviews submitted), performance (study results), acquisition of diploma, and foreign experience. We found, that graduates, who found their first job quickly, are employed congruently to their profession. These research experiences can be useful information for students participating in higher education.

Megjegyzések:The literature of employability is based on the experiences of primary graduates follow-up researches. Among higher education institutions are the graduates tracking studies increasingly common practice. The experience can help shape the content of training in order to promote employment. But how the employers have an opinion? The research aims to determine whether employers reveals the experiences and expectations of young graduates on. The authors trying to point out what characteristics has a good employable young graduate based on the experiences of the primary corporate survey research. 120 employers were interviewed in the survey mainly in the Northern Plains region. We try to shed light on the basis of experience, what factors can be an advantage among the graduates during the corporate recruitment-selection period.

Megjegyzések:In this paper we would like to answer the question, how certain factors influence the employability of higher educated people, and what kind of effects they have on their satisfaction. Our hypothesis is the following: the graduates, who spent more time looking for a job, are more satisfied with their work, than their counterparts, who spent less time looking for a job. We examine the outcome of the regular career follow-up research executed by University of Debrecen. We conclude that the job search time affects negatively the job satisfaction. The graduates, who spend less time looking for a job and are more satisfied, who spend more time looking for a job, are less satisfied with their job.

Megjegyzések:The main purpose of this study is to estimate the financial sectors' innovation activities related to their R&D expenditures in the 1995-2011 periods. Analysing various OECD countries we could claim that the average Hungarian financial expenditures are relatively smaller than their regional competitors. Then a growth accounting method was also estimated to determine the labour and physical accumulations, and the Total Factor Productivity (TFP) of each examined 14 OECD countries. The TFP could not be measured directly, which accounts for effects in total output that can be taken as an indicator of technological changes of economies. The negative TFP growth in Hungary revealed that the financial institutions could not strengthen economic growth of its own, only give a chance to enhance better productivity performance. (3) Thus, the R&D expenditures are correlated with the technology changes in most of the examined countries.
