Megjegyzések:AbstractPostcholecystectomy syndrome (PCS) is a set ofsymptoms, particularly in the digestive field that do notdisappear after surgical removal of the gallbladder, onthe contrary, they worsen.Objectives: The objective of this paper is tohighlight the biliary pathology of the PCS for caseshospitalized in surgical wards of a county clinicalemergency hospital and the therapeutic ways of solvingthe generating cause.Material and method: In the present study clinicalobservation sheets of the patients hospitalized in surgicalwards, from January 2010 to October 2015 with thediagnosis of postcholecystectomy syndrome have beenexamined.Results: 221 patients, accounting for 67.42% offemales. Clinical examinations and laboratoryexaminations showed the presence of a postoperativeangiocolitis, in a share of 92.30%. Of the 221 casesadmitted to surgery with PCS, the biliary causes was14%, in 190 of the cases, the treatment was by drugs(85.97%). In the other 31 cases it was used anendoscopic and/or surgical intervention.Conclusions: Angiocholitis in postcholecystectomygenerate changes in interhepatic and extra hepatic bileducts which are translated by imaging, by theirexpansion, with or without parietal modifications, withor without obstruction lesions of the distal bile duct.The main therapeutic approach in PCS is noninvasive,by drugs.Keywords: postcholecystectomy syndrome,angiocholitis, endoscopic sphincterotomy
