Cím:Impact of Modulated Routing Mechanism on Wireless Sensor Network Systems: A Comprehensive Analysis / Zoltan Gal, Amine Korteby, Djamila Talbi
Dátum:2023
Megjegyzések:Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) have been hugely advanced in recent years, driven by the growth of equipment types and numbers and the reduction of cost. Various services have been provided based on application requirements and network services. Among the energy-saving solutions in WSN environments, the Low Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy (LEACH) mechanism stands out. This hierarchical protocol makes cluster heads aggregate and switches data sent by the cluster entity nodes toward a fixed Sink node. In this study, we proposed Cost Balanced LEACH (CBLEACH), a novel set of routing mechanisms that introduce the mobility aspect to the Sink node (SN) and balances the decision of cluster head (CH) election by considering the distances between nodes and the residual energy of expected CH candidates. CB-LEACH allows nodes to be close to the SN to transmit data directly, ensuring non-collapsing energy and achieving the greatest efficiency in the WSN. The functionalities and features of the CB-LEACH routing mechanism were explored to provide valuable insights for researchers and practitioners in WSNs. We introduced a balance factor variable that merged the two impacting and time-dependent properties of nodes: distance and energy. The CH election in each cluster was based on a cost rule derived from a linear Eq. of the balance factor. We presented four different modulation schemes for the balance factor, each with its own rule, and analyzed their impact on the CB-LEACH mechanism. We examined the system's functionalities and compared the lifetime and transmitted number of frames in different scenarios involving the epoch number, the speed of SN, and various systems including Direct Sequence, basic LEACH, enhanced LEACH with mobile SN, and CB-LEACH. The findings in this study demonstrated that the modulated CB-LEACH routing mechanism outperformed other routing cases, offering superior features and capabilities to the WSNs.

Cím:Effect of the Modulation on the Cluster Head Election in Cost Balanced LEACH / Amine Korteby, Djamila Talbi, Zoltan Gal
Dátum:2023
ISSN:1792-460X
Megjegyzések:Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) have made significant progress in recent years due to advancements in hardware and reduced costs. Based on the application and network architecture, several protocols have been created. One of the most energy-efficient solutions in WSN environments is the LEACH (Low Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy) mechanism. Using the cluster head feature of the nodes, this hierarchical protocol aggregates and forwards data from cluster members to a fixed sink node. By introducing motion capability to the sink node and balancing the cluster head election decision based on the distances between the nodes and the remaining energy of the potential cluster head candidates, we propose a new family of routing mechanisms called Cost Balanced LEACH (CB-LEACH). In this research work we modulate the balance factor alfa conform to different rules and we analyzed the behavior of the system and its most important features.

Several protocols have been designed, based on the application and network architecture. We propose a new family of routing mechanisms called CB- LEACH by introducing movement possibility to the sink node and balancing the cluster head election decision based on the distances between the nodes and on the remaining energy of the potential cluster head candidates. We introduced the Hausdorff dimension, memory exponent, and common metric of fractality metrics to characterize the new routing mechanism. It is proven that these metrics can highlight the most important features of the newly proposed CB-LEACH system.

Cím:Decomposition Based Congestion Analysis of the Communication in B5G/6G TeraHertz High-Speed Networks / Djamila Talbi, Amine Korteby, Zoltan Gal
Dátum:2023
Megjegyzések:The New MAC mechanism plays a key role in achieving the needed requirements of the B5G/6G radio technology and helps to avoid high-speed frequency issues and limitations. With the help of ns-3 simulator, we generated 42 different cases for the purpose of analysing the impact of the network load on the overall effective transmission rate. Therefore, the use of the data-adaptive decomposition method the Empirical Mode Decomposition (EMD) on our non-stationary system benefit in the extraction of the important meaningful components. However, due to the highlighted direction dependency finding of EMD, Ensembled EMD (EEMD) being direction independent shows better performance on our data series. DBscan and k-Mean unsupervised learning-based clusterization methods were executed to find the right number of classes of the radio channel throughput features.

Dátum:2022
Megjegyzések:Pico-cell based very high-speed wireless technologies require new medium access control mechanisms to provide top efficiency in the control plane. Beyond 5G and 6G wireless services are studied currently with synthetic data generated with special simulators. In this paper we used NS3 TeraSim tool to evaluate upload communication cases from mobile terminals to unique base station in different population and topology scenarios during 10 ms simulated time interval. Fractal based wavelet analysis is used to extract features of channel access in different simulation cases and classify them with recurrent neural network. The methodology utilized performs stable and unstable phases of the new IEEE pre-standard mechanism called Adaptive Directional Antenna Protocol for THz.
