Megjegyzések:	This study aims to assess the preferences for mangalica consumption and shopping among stu-dents at the Faculty of Economics, University of Debrecen. Data from the online questionnaire survey were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Chi-square tests, Mann-Whitney tests, and Spearman rank correlation tests. According to the results, the main findings were that more men consume mangalica sausages and buy them in supermarkets/ hypermarkets, people living in big cities and graduates are better informed about Hungarian National Association of Man-galica Breeders. Significantly more people living in the county headquarters and those with a monthly net income of more than 300 thousand HUF (per capita) consume mangalica meat and products made from mangalica pork. There is a significant difference between the consum-er and non-consumer groups of the product according to the given criteria (price, product in-gredients, fat content, healthy nutrition, freshness, Hungarian product, proven origin, packag-ing), moreover, there is a strong positive correlation between the aspects.
