Megjegyzések:	There is not any proper method to examine and evaluate the ecological status of Hungarian standing waters with using fish data. For theoretically purpose we decided to use two methods of sampling and we investigated the fish fauna of Rakamaz oxbow lake in 2019. The first selected method was based on the National Biodiversity-monitoring System. We sampled a 300 m long section with a battery?powered electric fishing device (Hans Grassl IG200/b). The second method was according to the European Water Framework Directive for fish examination. We sampled a 500 m long section with a powerful, aggregator-powered electric fishing device (Hans Grassl EL 64/II GI). We sampled the two side of the oxbow lake at Tiszanagyfalu and Rakamaz, respectively. As the results shows, there are notable differences between the sampling methods, the sampling sites and the seasons, respectively. The two different type of protocol together can produce better results in order to examine the fish fauna and evaluate of the ecological status of a wetlands.
