Megjegyzések:	Human resources development is one of the most dynamic fields of regional development as a result primarily of the significant transformation of world economy. Upgrading of human resources development took place mostly after the industrial revolution and in the period of Post-Fordism. Nowadays education is more important than ever in order to supply educated human resources basis for Hungary, maintaining our competitiveness with Western European countries in the long-term. This has special importance in periphery areas where a high number of deprived groups are exposed to social and economic precluding. The aim of the present paper is to give a complete presentation regarding the importance of human resources development which is one of the most dynamic branches in Europe and in Hungary in the 21st century.
