Megjegyzések:	We collected ichtiological data for the conservation of the natural watercourses of the Zemplén Mountains on behalf of the nature conservation manager, Aggtelek National Park Directorate. In total, 11 streams were sampled in the first quarter of 2018. During the field work, 12 species of fish and 1220 individuals of the Carpathian Brook Lamprey were identified. The most frequent alpine species were the Chub (Squalius cephalus), the Spirlin (Alburnoides bipunctatus), and the Common Minnow (Phoxinus phoxinus). The Carpathian Barbel (Barbus carpathicus) was found in several watercourses. In total, the presence of 8 protected species have been proven. It is unfortunate that the significant communal waste accumulated in each watercourse and the various artefacts limit the survival of the fish community.
