Megjegyzések:	In this paper, we propose a general framework for sport science simulations that we refer to as Simulation Oriented Architecture (SimOA). As a concrete implementation of the framework we present a collection of sport science simulators that we developed in the experimental industrial research anddevelopment project called "Football Avatar" for simulating soccer matches. The practical goal of performing such simulations is to help soccer teams with providing an effective tool for supporting tactical decision making. The paper also establishes a solid theoretical foundation for performing sport science simulations introducing the concept of avatars.

Megjegyzések:	The RoboCup 2D Soccer Simulation (RCSS) is asophisticated soccer simulation environment introduced in [1]and implemeted in [2], [3]. For educational and other sportscience purposes, we have simplified the protocol of the RCSS.With raw phrasing we would say that we have eliminated themain AI part of the AI-based RCSS simulation model in orderthat it can be used easily in sport science and in education ofprogramming. In compliance with this aim, we must modify theRCSS environment. In our terminology, the suitable modifiedrcssserver is referred to as "lighter RCSS" [4], [5]. In this paper,the experiences of our first "lighter teams" will be presented.

Megjegyzések:	At the University of Debrecen, several projects related to European football have been launched recently. In this short communication, we review these project areas, with particular stress on geospatial aspects. Nemrégiben számos labdarúgással kapcsolatos projekt indult el a Debreceni Egyetemen.
