Megjegyzések:Annually, huge amount of money is spent on repairing costs, which could be significantly reduced by utilizing and steadily developing the correctly chosen technologies. The rate of abrasion highly depends on the physical and chemical features of the surface layers. Considering that the price of the special materials acceptable for the abrasion requirements is too high, it is not expedient to produce the whole component from this material. In order to enhance the economic efficiency, thermal spraying process is utilized, which is appropriate to apply different metallic and nonmetallic materials on the surface. In this paper we present the renewal of a break shaft and the mechanical parameters of the sprayed layer.

Megjegyzések:The economical management of materials, energy and man-power became common as a result of the market competition. These requirements can be answered by reducing the manufacturing and maintenance costs. Maintenance costs can be reduced by up-to-date component renewal and engineering-diagnostic methods. Up-to-date components are machine elements with certain function, which answer the requirements of complex stressing, and can be manufactured with minimal expenditure. An ultimate requirement is the load bearing capacity, arising from the strength properties of the components.

Megjegyzések:There is an increasing number of companies in the printing industry that meet the criteria of the ISO 9001 2000 standards. These companies want to cooperate with such maintenance and service companies that can provide proper guarantee on the operability of production equipment through their own quality management systems. This article introduces an example of a mutually beneficial cooperation of two (ISO) certified companies in meeting those quality standards. The keys to success in such cooperations is the synchronization of decision points, documentation processes and quality goals (or standards), the mutuality of complacence surveys and shared knowledge management.
