Megjegyzések:In this paper we present our work concerning VR applications in architecture and design. We investigated 3D and VR software in architectural planning and engineering. We also asked the opinion of experts in order to explore the missing parts of this area. We developed a program based on the demand of architects and their customers which aims to give a true sense of being in the building to be built. So users can feel the space, the size and the atmosphere of the building in a more realistic way before anything has been built. We focused on realistic visual experience in order to give a real insight into the emotional effects of the whole building and to provide the opportunity to perceive the different interior design variations. We compared our application to other available solutions in aspect of functionality, visual experience, interactions and computational requirements.
