Megjegyzések:	Nowadays the uses of water deposits are growing at afast way. The oxbows near the river Bodrog are significant wetlands, but fromtheir size and depth become vulnerable, their status changes fast day by day. The aims of the preliminary study to investigate thechemical status of the oxbows, and to establish the oxbows differences or similarities. Our study just the first step of a long-terminvestigation. The sampling took place at May, 2015 in six oxbows in total of 59 sampling sites. The ways by the oxbows werechosen to cover all the area between the Slovakian border and the river Tisza. Part of the Keleti Holt-Bodrog is located in the pro-tected side, but all of the other sampling oxbows are located in the not-protected side. The lake Fekete is under an environmentaltreatment. So in the chemical parameters nitrate, nitrite, phosphate, ammonium-ion, chloride-ion and COD were analyzed. We foundonly some differences between the oxbows by reason of the chloride-ion, the COD and the phosphate results
