Megjegyzések:	The thermal water outflow of the Balmazújváros Kamilla Spa reaches the receiving Kadarcs-Karácsonyfok canal through a surface channel through the city. The emerging fish community was examined in the effluent. The fish caught proved to be almost exclusively the Eastern mosquitofish (Gambusia holbrooki). This fish proved to be eudominant in the channel. All ages, both sexes are present in large quantities in this water body. The presence of this species was not known from this thermal water outflow, or even from the entire Trans?Tisza region. Besides Gambusia, other species were observed only in smaller numbers. We examined the distribution of Eastern mosquitofish as a function of water temperature, from which it can be concluded that the densest stock is characteristic of the first third of the outflow. Fish stocks migrate seasonally within the canal.
