Megjegyzések:	There are well-known differences between problem solving competencies of novices and experts. It is also known from the literature that students, regardless of age, typically give the expected answer, ignoring the openness of the problem. In our study, we use a problem that is open at the starting point nevertheless it has closed solution. We analyze how experts and novices manage the openness of an elementary problem based on a survey prepared for 7th and 8th graders.
