Cím:Transforming Systematic Literature Synthesis into Meta-Data Analysis: The Impact of Lean Six Sigma in the Healthcare Sector / James Komaling, Octavia D. M. Tuegeh, Fitty Valdi Arie, Johan R. Tumiwa
Dátum:2025
Megjegyzések:This study presents a comprehensive meta-data analysis of Lean Six Sigma (LSS) research in the healthcare sector, synthesizing recent academic literature to map key themes, trends, and construct relationships. Leveraging a systematic literature review guided by PRISMA protocols, 38 peer-reviewed articles indexed in Scopus (2021?2025) were analyzed to describe the evolution of scholarly interest, collaboration networks, and thematic clustering in LSS healthcare research. The results reveal a dynamic and collaborative research landscape, with contributions from 130 unique authors across 57 countries, and a broad spectrum of journals and publishers. India leads in publication volume, highlighting regional disparities and the need for greater engagement from underrepresented countries such as Indonesia. The study identifies three core constructs?Organizational Management & Efficiency, Operational Implementation, and Healthcare Delivery and Quality?each empirically grounded in co-occurring and highly correlated keywords. Through co-occurrence analysis and keyword correlation, the research develops robust indicators for each construct and proposes a data-driven path model for future quantitative analysis using PLS-SEM. While the findings advance theoretical and practical understanding of LSS implementation, the study is limited by its focus on English-language, Scopus-indexed articles within a five-year period, and by the predominance of research on private hospital institutions. Recommendations for future research include empirical validation of the proposed constructs, extension to broader healthcare settings, and examination of mediating and moderating factors in LSS effectiveness.

Cím:A Meta-Analysis of the Impact of TOE Adoption on Smart Agriculture SMEs Performance / Adrian Nagy, Johan Tumiwa, Fitty Arie, Erdey László, Anas Ratib Alsoud, Main Al-Dalahmeh
Dátum:2025
ISSN:1932-6203
Megjegyzések:Background Agricultural SMEs face distinct challenges due to factors such as weather, climate change, and commodity price changes. Technology has become essential in helping SMEs overcome these challenges and grow their businesses. The relationship between technology and SMEs in the agriculture sector covers various aspects, such as using hardware and software, digital applications, sensors, and e-commerce strategies to be examined in further depth through literature study.Problem statement The implementation of the TOE (technology, organization, and environment) framework in smart agriculture faces several challenges. To overcome these challenges, an integrated approach is needed that involves technological capacity building, organizational management changes, and adequate policy and infrastructure support to help SMEs in the agricultural sector develop their businesses. Objectives This research aims to demonstrate and identify how TOE plays an important role in the performance of SMEs, particularly with regard to agriculture in order to improve agricultural productivity, efficiency, and sustainability while enabling access to broader markets in several countries. This study employs a meta-analysis method using a quantitative approach taken by each publication, which typically used SEM.Methods PRISMA technique was used to examine evidence from clinical trials, and clinical significance was determined using the GRADE approach. Statistical analysis was performed using the Fisher test to combine the results of several studies and Cohen's approach to interpreting effect sizes.Findings The results of this study are in line with the findings of 27 previous studies which showed a direct positive relationship between TOE construction and the performance of agricultural SMEs, with variables including technological factors, organizational factors, environmental factors, and SME performance. The synergy between technology adoption by agricultural SMEs and Industry 4.0 can increase connectivity and automation in the agricultural sector. However, it is important to remember that adopting TOE to realize the smart agriculture concept has its own challenges and risks, such as resource management (technology), good organizational management (organization), and internal and external organizational environments (environments), including intense competitionResearch implication TOE adoption improves access to information about competitors and customers, providing practitioners and decision-makers with a clearer understanding. It enables focus on factors with a significant impact on TOE adoption, so that they are more independent in developing effective business concepts that are adaptive to the era of agricultural technology 4.0.

Cím:An exploratory study of artificial intelligence adoption in higher education / Adrian Szilard Nagy; Johan Reineer Tumiwa; Fitty Valdi Arie; Erdey László
Dátum:2024
ISSN:2331-186X
Megjegyzések:Higher education has seen substantial changes with the growing integration of computer-based intelligence technologies into the learning process. Nevertheless, the acceptance of computer-based intelligence in advanced educational settings is still faced with various difficulties, including perceived dangers, implementation assumptions, and exertion assumptions. This exploration plans to determine the relationship between risk policies, implementation assumptions, and effort assumptions with social expectations regarding the acceptance of computer-based intelligence innovations in advanced educational organizations in North Sulawesi, Indonesia. Moreover, this exploration also tests the role of social goals as a mediator variable connecting these elements. As a research method, a survey was conducted using a survey of students and academic staff from various universities in North Sulawesi with a sample size of 330 people with different educational backgrounds. The research results show that risk perception, performance expectations, and effort expectations have a large influence on behavioral intentions to adopt artificial intelligence (AI) in higher education. In addition, this study found that behavioral intention acts as a moderator that moderates the relationship between perceived risks, performance expectations; while effort expectations through behavioral intentions do not have a significant influence on AI adoption. These results provide valuable insights for higher education institutions in planning AI adoption strategies, with a focus on managing perceived risk, increasing performance expectations, and reducing effort expectations. In addition, this research also highlights the large role of recognizing behavioral intentions in the process of adopting AI technology in higher education, so that it can increase the effectiveness of its implementation.
