Megjegyzések:	We introduce an algorithm for the fast generation of Latin squares. Considering Latin squares with n rows and columns, we introduce a map which maps one square to another one of opposite parity. This map is not unique and it is determined by two indices, i.e. two single numbers. These numbers can be used as secret key in cryptographic schemes which are build up on Latin squares. Thus the introduced algorithm can be applied in cryptography. Additionally, we give a theoretical upper bound for the number of Latin squares of order n.

Megjegyzések:	In this paper, we introduce and investigate the neighborhood of binary self-dual codes. We prove that there is no better Type I code than the best Type II code of the same length. Further, we give some new necessary conditions for the existence of a singly-even (56,28,12)-code and a doubly-even (72,36,16)-code.

Megjegyzések:	We describe a software package created by the authors that can be used to search for linear binary codes with almost arbitrary conditions. The package is easily extensible and reconfigurable to suit the specific needs of the search. The main function can be used to search for currently unknown linear codes, or to quickly generate examples of known codes.
