Megjegyzések:	The use of semiotic textological approaches and analytical apparatus has characterised the textual research of the Polyglott research group on text linguistics and textual studies at the University of Debrecen since its inception Polyglotticity is most striking in the comparative study of the textual phenomena of certain languages.The aim of the present study can be divided into three strands: Firstly, to focus on aspects, categories, and contexts in the theory and analytical apparatus of semiotic textology that can either be placed in dialogue with the French textlinguistic tradition or, alternatively, can be incorporated as new elements - with the hope of new results - into the current canon; - on the other hand, and closely related to the previous objective, we will illustrate the operation of the thesauristic meaning explication hypothesized by S. János Petőfi as an approach motivated by the representation of textual meaning, showing that there is a close link between the mental arrangement of meanings by human cognition and the representation of the meaning of concrete texts; - thirdly, through concrete comparative short text analyses, we aim to enrich our knowledge of meaning- contextualization of Hungarian and French texts, their similarities and differences (of course, under the strong hypothesis that there is obviously a large overlap in the means of semantic continuity in any language).

Megjegyzések:	The study aims to present the French translation of two novels, written by the Hungarian author, Sándor Tar. He is one of the most controversial figures in Hungarian literature, whose novels pose countless difficulties in translation. The difficulties come from the socio-cultural background of the novels, on the one hand, and from the author's particular style, on the other. The constant mixing of styles and registers, the upheaval of temporal and spatial relationships represent a major challenge for translators. In this study, we describe some of these difficulties and typical translation mistakes, highlighting the importance of the socio-cultural aspect in literary translation. Megjegyzések:	The study aims to present a possible way of applying the interdisciplinary text approach in literary translation criticism through the comparison of two French literary texts and their Hungarian translation. Instead of traditional literary criticism, often based on subjective impressions, the study presents a complex comparative text analysis approach, in which text linguistics, especially semiotic textology and functional stylistics complement each other and together ensure the objective character of the equivalence analysis of the source and target language texts. The comparative text analysis aims to demonstrate as a practical example that text linguistics can provide theoretical and methodological viewpoints that contribute to the practice of literary translation criticism according to scientific criteria.
